			Small is Powerful The Spirit's generator is a 3-phase permanent magnet with a non cogging rotor. With a non-cogging rotor, the generator can start turning in a 1.3 mph breeze and begins producing 50 watts in an 3 mph breeze and 100 watts in 5 mph breeze. Rated power of 1000 watts starts in as little as an 16 mph wind. Our whisper quiet blades are a sign that they are making FULL use of the wind. Unused wind passing through wind blades causes a vortex sound. The Spirit makes better use of the wind producing quieter operation, making this unit very neighbor friendly, especially at night.
